- I agree to respect the rights and property of others. I understand that neither vandalism nor stealing will be tolerated. Financial obligations that result form such behaviour will be the sole responsibility of myself and my family.
- I agree to respect YVP leaders and other participants.
- I will not leave an event, unless my YVP leader grants permission.
- All participants, regardless of legal drinking age, will refrain from drinking. The purchase, possession, or consumption of any alcoholic beverage by any participant and the possession or use of illegal drugs by any individual will not be tolerated. Failure to comply will result in immediate dismissal from the expedition.
- I will take care of all gear issued to me and any personal property belonging to others. I am responsible for all negligent damage that I cause.
- I will not have in my possession any radios, cell phones, electronic music or game devices.
- I will remain with my allocated group for the duration of the expedition.
- I will avoid disturbing wild animals, birds and farm animals, particularly at sensitive times: mating, nesting and raising young.
- I will not feed wild animals or birds.
- I will take home all litter and left over food (including tea bags, fruit peels and other biodegradable foods).
I realize and agree that if I do not abide by these rules, I may lose the privilege of participating in an activity, or may be sent home at the discretion of the YVP leaders.
